Changing your guitar strings might make you feel a litte uncomfortable if you have never done it before, but it's really quite simple and should become a regular part of your guitar care routine. Before you do anything, first take time to make some personal observations such as:

1. Which way do you have to turn the tuning keys to tighten or loosen the strings?

2. How are the strings aligned from the nut to the bridge?

3. Which is the heaviest string?

Taking mental notes will probably save you some frustration and make the job much easier.

Below you will find some helpful steps to follow for changing your strings. Once you've changed your guitar strings a couple of times your confidence should begin to grow and you won't need to refer to these steps any longer. I like to remove all of the guitar strings in order to give my guitar a thorough cleaning, but you can remove and replace them one at a time if you prefer.

Guitar Care and Maintenance Tools:

- Needle-nose Plyers (to cut string ends)
- String Winder
- Soft Cotton Cloth
- Guitar Cleaning Polish (do not use furniture polish, oils, or wax)

REMOVING THE STRINGS

Acoustic Steel String Guitar-

1. Using the string winder , begin slowly loosening the string(s) until completely slack.

2. With the needle-nose plyers, carefully grab the string from the capstan (the part it winds around) and pull through the hole until it is free.

3. Taking the string winder again, use the cut-out at the end of it to grab the pin at the bridge. Gently pull the pin until it comes out of the hole.

4. Continue this process until all the strings are removed.

5. Clean guitar surface thoroughly.

Classic Nylon String Guitar-

Follow steps one and two above. When you come to step three, take your needle-nose plyers and carefully loosen the figure eight knot at the bridge. Pull the string free.

Electric Guitar-

Follow the same procedure as described for an acoustic steel string guitar. However, if you have an electric guitar with a movable bridge you may want to take it to your local music store and have them show you how to do it safely. If the bridge is moved from it's correct position you will not be able to tune your guitar after restringing it.

RE-STRINGING YOUR GUITAR

Acoustic Steel String Guitar-

1. Bend the ball end of the string slightly and place it inside the hole below the bridge. Some steel string guitars do not have pins. When this is the case, just pull the string throught the hole.

2. Line up the string with any grooves in the pin. Insert the pin into the hole, making sure it is secure.

3. Take the other end and insert into the hole on the capstan.

4. Pull the string through leaving a fair amount of slack between the capstan and the bridge.

5. Bend the string at the point it comes through the capstan to keep it secure.

6. Watching out for your eyes, begin turning the key with your left hand. Once you get it started it may be easier to use the string winder. (For safety reasons, you might want to cut off any excess string. I usually wait until after they're all on to do this).

7. As you are winding, apply some tension to the string with your right hand to help keep it taught. Make sure you are winding in the right direction! On the bass strings you will be winding counter-clockwise (away from you). On the treble strings you will go the opposite direction.

8. Continue to wind each string until all the slack is taken up. Do not worry about tuning yet.

9. Cut off all excess string length.

Classic Nylon String Guitar-

1. Put the string through the top of the hole found just below the bridge.

2. Pull about 3 inches through.

3. Bringing the string up over the tie block, pass it underneath itself at the original point of entry.

4. Come down over the tie block again and wrap the end of the string around itself in a figure eight type pattern.

5. Insert the other end of the string down through the hole on the capstan.

6. Wrap the string around the back and then underneath itself in order to secure it in place.

7. As described above, begin turning the key with your left hand while maintaining some tension with the other until all the slack is taken up. With a classical guitar you will wind clockwise on the bass strings and the treble strings.

8. Keep the string as straight as possible as it continues from the capstan through the nut and down onto the neck.

9. You should not have any excess string length, but if you do, cut it off.

Electric Guitar-

Follow the same procedure as described for the acoustic steel string guitar.

When considering the purchase of a new computer, many people find themselves asking - should I buy a desktop or laptop computer? I buy over one hundred computers a year for my clients, and am often asked this same question. In this article I will share with you the same advice I give my clients.

Cost Considerations

Laptops are generally speaking, more expensive than desktops. A similarly equipped laptop going to cost at least 25% more initially, but the lifetime of the average laptop is generally shorter than than the lifetime of the average desktop. Face it - laptops are fragile, and the inevitible bumps and bruises eventually take their toll. The bottom line is, the portability of a laptop comes at a premium price.

Some people create a "home space" for their laptops, with include such accessories and peripherals as an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, scanner, and/or printer. If you can afford it, this scenario gives you the best of both worlds.

Speed

Laptops, generally speaking, are slower than desktops. There are many factors that go into the speed of a computer, and obviously some laptops are faster than some desktops. However, generally speaking:

-- Laptops are designed to run on battery power. Their components begin to power down after brief periods of non-use, and it takes time for them to come back to life.

-- All but the high end laptop hard drives are 5400rpm, whereas entry level desktop hard drives are 7200rpm. More RPMS means more speed, but also requires more power.

-- Laptop processors use much less energy...and therefore can't perform as many operations in the same amount of time as a desktop processor.

Do you NEED Portability?

If you don't need the portability, get a desktop. I have clients who paid big money for a high dollar laptop, docking station, separate keyboard, mouse, and monitor...only to have it sit on their desk. Maybe portability to you means you like to sit on the couch at night and surf the web - fine. (I do that myself!) But if your computer is not going to move, save the money and get a faster computer - buy a desktop.

Ergonomics

Due to the very nature of laptops, they do not typically provide as good of ergonomics as desktop machines. If you spend a lot of time on your computer, and plan to buy a laptop, you may need to create a space with good ergonomics to work. There are many resources on the web to help you do this - just Google ergonomics.

Theft

Another consideration is the possibility of theft. Laptops are at the top of the list for petty thieves, and you must guard them carefully when you are out and about. There are theft recovery systems such as Lojack available to help you recover your computer if stolen, for a price.

Summary

The decision of whether to buy a laptop or a desktop is an important one. carefully consider your budget and the other points discussed above, and then make the right decision for you. In todays increasingly expensive society, a need for a second income arises more and more each day. The problem with this is that no one has the time to get a second job, so we often Google various methods of making money online. Unfortunately, with all of the money making schemes online today, its hard to really trust that one method really works. I, myself, went through this same problem. Spending money on e-books that tell you all these easy ways to make money can empty your pockets rather than fill them. Especially because most of these schemes require you to have some sort of expertise of the internet. Now because of this, these schemes may seem like scams, but you have to look at them from a different way. I was fortunate enough to realize that is a plethora of resources available and its very possible to make money using MySpace as your gateway.

Since MySpace is the internets largest online community, this is the easiest way to advertise or reach millions of people with just a push of a button. This is the bread and butter to making money online. All you need is traffic to wherever you want people to go. Whether its selling something, or just PPC (pay per click) advertising, traffic will generate turnover and put money in your pocket. I know from experience that the way to make money on MySpace is easier than you think.

First, you need a way to generate revenue. You can start by joining an affiliate program network. Affiliates programs are when you will advertise a product for a specific seller. Every person that is forwarded to the sellers website through YOUR advertising, you will make a percentage of the profit, its that simple. They seller will provide you specifically coded links that you can post anywhere on the internet, and these links will refer back to your program every time someone uses them. You can also start a blog. On your blog you can have PPC ads which generate revenue for you. After a while, its money straight into your pocket. But first you need to get people to click your links and visit your site. This is where MySpace comes in.

With MySpace, you can use bulletins, messages, or comments to post these links, but you have to do so carefully and discretely. You dont want it to look like spam. You also have to build a large friend list with MySpace. With a large friend list, you can reach all of your friends with the push of a button. This program alone has generated hundreds of thousands of referrals to my affiliate programs. * Does the debt settlement company you are considering have IAPDA certified debt arbitrators? IAPDA certified debt arbitrators possess a solid understanding of the laws governing the Debt Settlement industry and fully understand your current financial situation.

* Does the debt settlement company you are considering offer any type of bankruptcy assistance should debt settlement not work out for you? For example, some debt settlement companies will offer a refund of some of the program costs to help pay for a bankruptcy attorney of your choice. Of course, the funds would have to be paid to a licensed attorney and not directly back to you. Again, a company that does this will most likely have your best interest in mind.

* Does the debt settlement company you are considering belong to the local Chamber of Commerce? If so, is the Chamber an accredited member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Unites States? This type of affiliation will help ensure that the company is conducting business in a proper manner.

* Is the debt settlement company you are considering a member of the Better Business Bureau? If they do not advertise this, you can always inquire with the BBB first. The BBB is a great way to determine if the company has a list of prior complaints. Any company with more than a few complaints per year is a company that you do not want to do business with.

Kid friendly recipes like Asian Stir-Fry with Rotisserie Chicken or BBQ Chicken Sandwiches are quick and easy. Kids love the taste of these dishes. Moms will love the convenience.

Rotisserie chicken is a healthy ingredient for kid friendly meals. Use the ready-to-eat rotisserie chicken available in most grocery stores.

Chicken preparation: To Cut up the chicken, use kitchen scissors. Cut the chicken in half along the breast and backbones. Cut each half between thigh and wing. Pull the chicken off the bones and chop into small pieces.

BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

This recipe is made with off the shelf ingredients. Use bottled barbecue sauce, a few seasonings and a rotisserie chicken to make this fast family dinner. You can purchase potato salad or coleslaw from the grocer also to round out the meal.

Ingredients

• 1 bottle barbecue sauce
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
• 1/2-teaspoon cumin
• 1/2-teaspoon chili powder
• 1 rotisserie chicken about 1-1/2 lbs.
• Remove the skin and bones
• 4 Kaiser rolls, split

Instructions:

1. Combine barbecue sauce, parley, cumin and chili power in skillet over low heat
2. Stir in chicken
3. Stir occasionally until heated through
4. Divide chicken mixture among the rolls

Serve with potato salad, coleslaw and pickles if desired.

Yield: 4 servings

Asian Stir-Fry with Rotisserie Chicken

Made with ramen noodles, fresh ginger, garlic and cilantro This is a quick dinner for busy cooks who want to create a delicious but nutritious 15-minute meal.

Ingredients:

• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 chopped onion
• 1 tablespoon minced and peeled fresh ginger
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
• 1/4-cup lite soy sauce
• 1-1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
• 2 pkgs. ramen noodles
• 1 rotisserie chicken with skin removed and meat shredded
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

In small bowl stir together soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth. (Discard or save flavor packets from ramen noodle packages for another use)

1) Heat olive oil over medium-high heat
2) Add onion, ginger and garlic
3) Cook until onion is tender
4) Stir in vegetables
5) Cook 3 minutes
6) To the skillet add 2 cups water, bring to boil
7) Stir in soy sauce mixture
8) Boil until just thickened
9) Stir in noodles and chicken
10) Cook stirring occasionally until noodles are tender and chicken is heated through
11) Transfer to platter
12) Sprinkle with cilantro

How do you produce ideas for new innovations? Here is a great technique: Extract some basic ideas from existing products and inventions, and then apply them to new areas.

If you look at a thermostat, for example, you might think "A device to control the indoor climate." This is certainly an idea that can be used to come up with something new. You have to look a little deeper, though, if you want more creative innovations. Continue with, "It measures the temperature and then, using that information, turns the heater on or off, to keep the house comfortable."

Continuing even deeper, we see that it uses measurement in order to control something. Let's work with that concept. With the technology that exists today, we can make things happen automatically, according to almost anything we can automatically measure. This is a powerful concept that can and will lead to some fantastic new innovations.

In an article on thought control, I pointed out that since we can measure the changing activity of the brain as we change the nature of our thoughts, we can already build a device that is operated just by our thoughts. Even with the technology of thirty years ago, we could have had a TV turn on whenever one's pulse rate increased. If you then trained yourself to increase your pulse rate by thinking certain thoughts, you could turn on a television with your thoughts.

Other New Innovations

To have many such ideas and new innovations, just look around and start applying the basic concept of control by measurement. Looking at the television, and thinking of measurable things related to it, time is an obvious one. There are "sleep timers" that turn the TV off after a certain amount of time, but how about a device that only allows the TV to be on for three hours in any given day? Kids can watch when they want, but they won't be able to watch too much.

A thermometer gives me the idea for a sign that changes it's message according to the weather. A restaurant, for example, could have the sign say "Come in out of the cold," when it was cold, or "Cool off with an ice cold drink," when it was hot, and so on. I'm sure there are other businesses whose messages would be variously more or less effective according to the weather.

When I look at the traffic, I see that speed can be measured. There are already those radar signs now, that tell you how fast you are going. There could be a sign down the road that says "Slow down, we're taking your picture," or the radar gun could turn on a fake siren whenever someone goes ten miles per hour over the limit. The idea is simply that their speed triggers something that will hopefully slow them down.

Yesterday I saw a new invention that measures your girth. So what does it do with that information? Well, if you hold your stomach in, you get clear sound in your headphones. If you let your stomach hang out, the music is low quality and loses volume. While I'm not sure how well this stomach-exercise-motivator will sell, it does show how using the concept of measurement to control can lead to very different innovations. In fact, any application of a basic concept to new areas can lead to new innovations.

If you have decided to enroll your child into a Martial Arts school, you may now be wondering which one to go for. There is usually more than one school available within an area so you should have a mixture of schools to choose from. This can be hard for many parents as how exactly do you know which ones are better than others?

Things to Look For With Martial Arts schools

All Martial Arts schools are different and not just in the Martial Arts that they teach. The teaching styles are often different so it is vital that you choose a school which suits both you and your child. In order to do this it would be a good idea to visit the schools beforehand.

Visiting the schools will give you a chance to see for yourself exactly how classes are run. Observe as many classes as you like and see how the teacher is with the kids. Are they strict? Do they give the kids a chance to do things properly before reprimanding them? Do they answer any child's questions helpfully? By observing their teaching style you will be able to see whether you are happy or not leaving your child in their hands. Something else to look out for is whether or not they are being false in front of you. You will be able to tell this if they are being overly nice and if they keep looking at you throughout the lesson.

Another way of finding out how successful a Martial Arts school is is by asking other parents and children who go to that school. Ask them if they are happy enough with what the children are being taught and also ask the children if they are happy there. By finding out from people who actually go to the school, you will have a much better idea of how good it actually is.

Some questions you should ask the teacher before making your mind up include:

What age range is the class aimed at?
Is the class separated by gender?
How is a children's class different to an adult one?
How much exactly are the classes going to cost?

The budget will obviously play a big part in whether or not your child can go to a martial arts class or not. All schools will charge a different amount of money per class so it is always worth shopping around and trying to find the best deal as well as the best training method. Remember, if you are not happy with the training method you should not leave your child in that persons care. You have to be completely comfortable that the class will be right for your child and so you need to spend as much time researching beforehand as possible.

Controller

A computer system contains a first and second memory controllers; a first and second computer memory associated with the first and second memory controllers, a memory space; and firmware under control of which the computer system generates data that enables the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, saveing the data in the memory space, copies the data to the first memory controller, causing the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and uses the first computer memory to initialize the second memory controller to use the second computer memory.

Reset

The computer firmware initiates a reset after saving the data; the computer system determines whether a current reset is firmware initiated; if the current reset is firmware initiated, the computer system copies the data to the first memory controller having the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and uses the first computer memory to initialize the second memory controller to use the second computer memory; and if the current reset is not firmware initiated, the computer system generates the data that enables the first memory controller to use the first computer memory, and saves the configuration data in the memory space. Determining how much physical computer memory is present and useable, the memory controller uses the computer memory. To do so, it gathers type, size, speed and memory attributes from the memory modules and programs the memory controller accordingly. Once the memory controller has been configured, It will program a setting in the memory controller that triggers the memory controller to initialize the memory modules. Therefore, the complete configuration information is formatted and assembled, but not yet programmed into the memory. In this manner, it configures information with "virtual" registers having a one-to-one correspondence with the actual registers that are in the memory controller.

Some of these signs of a cheating spouse are "tongue in cheek" while others are tell tale signs that commonly appear with a cheating husband or cheating wife. There is no copyright. Feel free to forward to those who might be interested. But please don't change anything.

Signs of a Cheating Spouse:

1) You find birth-control pills in her medicine cabinet, and you've had a vasectomy.

2) Mutual friends start acting strangely toward you. (They either know about the cheating or have been told stories about what a horrible wife or girlfriend you are.)

3) Your cheating husband or wife stops confiding in you and seeking advice from you.

4) Sets up a new e-mail account and doesn't tell you about it.

15) He insists the child seat, toys, etc., are kept out of his car.

16) The cheating wife stops wearing her wedding ring.

17) Has a sudden desire to be helpful with the laundry.

18) Has unexplained scratches or bruises on his or her neck or back.

19) Suddenly wants to try new love techniques.

20) He/she fairly suddenly stops having sex with you.

21) He/she suddenly wants more sex, more often.

22) Supposedly works a lot of overtime, but it never shows up on the pay stub.

23) Picks fights in order to stomp out of the house.

24) You find out by accident he or she took vacation day or personal time off from work - but supposedly worked on those days.

25) Shows a sudden interest in a different type of music.

26) Spouse's co-workers are uncomfortable in your presence.

27) Has a sudden preoccupation with his or her appearance.

I wrote this article last year when hurricanes after hurricanes pounded Florida.

It is the hurricane season. This year the season has turned ugly for the state of Florida. "There are no seasons in Florida", they say. But we can now say there are two distinct seasons in Florida: Hurricane season and Non-hurricane season.

We moved to this state last year from texas. When I joined the VA hospital as software engineer I was very surprised to hear that we had to attend two mandatory hurricane safety class. It had us worried for a while. But all we got last year was sunny skies all the time and some rain. We did not find any reason to worry. We almost took to the words that dogs that barks does not bite.

But this year! Oh boy! What a difference a year make? It was further complicated by the fact that hurricanes tended to come our way whenever I am out of town. It was bad enough to get downsized from a government project. After six weeks of searching, I was able land a job in Omaha, NE. I was excited to have this job because it involved travelling and that meant frequent flyer miles. It was beginning to be fun. But within a few weeks, came the news of hurricane Charlie which headed directly toward where I live. I felt very worried for my wife. I started frantically calling my friends asking for help. But fortunately, when the dust settled, there was no problem at all for us, because Charlie changed path drastically and headed toward Disneyland. It was a great sigh of relief for me. However, it was not so for some people in Punte Gorde. It was also not good experience for one of my friends who was also downsized along with me and took a job in Fort Myeres. He had sister living there.

They decided to pack and move to a hotel between their houses so when the storm was gone they can move to whichever house will be in better shape. But Charley decided to ignore both their houses and headed straight to the hotel they took shelter in.

The hotel was badly damaged, but they were fine as they huddled all of them together in the closet. When they came out and learned what had happened they could not be overjoyed. Each of their houses were left in tact. No scratch, no dent.

Hurricane Charley was followed by Frances whose spreadth covered the entire state of Florida but was not of great intensity. Then came Ivan. Ivan was supposed to be very fierce and dangerous. But 'Ivan the terrible' drifted westward and finally struct the coast of Alabama. This also happened when I was still travelling to Omaha.

I can understand the panic faced by my hapless wife or my friend and his family. But I do not get why people have to panic and have any trouble at all to get out of harm's way. In today's technology, they get warning far in advance.

It is also ironical that all tourist are welcome in Florida except hurricanes? Why can't they not visit florida? After all, they do a superb job of cleaning up debris. If people are careful and have some respect to the mother nature, the human toll can be almost non-existent. We can not emphasize enough that there is no need to be hero, no need to stay in front of a running train unless you work for CNN! Difference between with them and you is simple. They are in front of a camera and you are not! So nobody will come to know if something strikes you and you fall or die until it is too late!

This also got me thinking. Can we not make use of the huge source of energy in some way? The way oil prices are going upward and the prospect of global energy crisis looming, one can not understand how this huge source of energy be ignored. We can place many windmills along Florida coastline. When the hurricane comes ashore, the windmills starts churning and produce electricity. One can either store the electricity or simply sell it hapless countries like Cuba.

But what will happen the no hurricane comes this way. Like 'Ivan' decided to dodge Florida altogether and headed for the boring state of Alabama. I think hurricanes can be lured as well just as humans can be. They can put signs of Disneyland and numerous other places of entertainment on the sea (using the electricity generated by those windmills). This may help wayward ships or the desparate cubans who are trying to come to USA on a boat or sometimes just a log.

I am deeply saddened by the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims. I hope they come out of their misery soon. If you want to donate please go to Redcross or call 1-800-HELP-NOW.

If you were to have legal access to the records of every general practitioner across the United States, you would find that lower back pain is one of the most common reasons for visits to physicians. Studies show that about 60 percent of reported pain problems in the U.S. are lower back pain. Most such pain is relieved with treatment as conservative as over-the-pain medication.

Ask a physician for advice on the best treatment, and you will likely be told, You need back pain exercises to strengthen lower back muscles.

What Kind of Back Exercise?

Stretching and strengthening back exercise is usually recommended. Hip rotations, rump lifts, and thigh pulls will stretch you back muscles. Alternate superman exercises, along with things such as slippery heels, high heels, and brake pedals will strengthen your back.

Instructions for these exercises are available from your therapist or online, and no equipment is necessary for performing them.

At the Gym

Our bodys cores are often neglected, and need a program of regular back exercises to strengthen lower back muscles. We work on the front of the body, slimming, trimming, and building abdominal muscles, but we neglect the back. We use exercises to strengthen arm and leg muscles, but forget the back.

When you work out at the gym or health club, check how much time you spend working on abdominal muscle groups. Now schedule identical time for back exercise.

Cover your exercise mat with a towel to keep it clean, and throw the towel in your wash as needed.

Exercise balls are a cost-effective solution for such things as balance, cardiovascular fitness, coordination, flexibility, neuromotor training, and strength. They can help you do several back exercises.

The exercise ball is a conservative treatment option for back pain sufferers. It will not only treat current pain, but will go far toward preventing future episodes of low back pain.

3. Roman chair. A roman chair is a type of hypertension bench. They are found in many health clubs or gyms, but investing in your own may keep you more faithful in doing vital back exercise.

Roman chairs do not look like chairs, and users are more likely to be on their stomachs than on their backs in roman chairs. They are great for back exercise, though. They are especially helpful for extension exercises, one of a number of effective back pain exercises to strengthen lower back muscles.

A roman chair should have a traction foot plate to help you position yourself securely while using it. For beginners, a 45 degree exercise angle will make it easier to perform back extension exercises. This will mean a less intense workout for you.

4. If you are determined to work your abs and have a little more to spend on back exercise equipment, an Ab and back machine will give you the balance you need. An ab and back machine will place your body in the seated position, which is the most comfortable and safe position for back exercise coupled with ab exercise. Used straight forward, this machine will tighten and tone your abs, obliques and midsection. Rotate the action arm, and the machine provides back exercise.

All back exercise should be done in moderation, and any increases in repetitions should be gradual. This is not a competition, but a means of strengthening your back. If you rush back exercise, or overdo it, you may cause more problems than you had.

Remember, before starting a program of back exercise, consult a physician. There may be underlying physical conditions, such as hernias, that you would worsen by stressing muscles. In addition, medical problems such as coronary disease or diabetes may require your physicians specific observation.

Like everybody else who drives, you have been feeling the squeeze on your pocket book from the rising gas prices. The days of cheap gas for our automobiles are probably over. And now you need to know how to make buying that tank of gas less painful.

There are many things you can do to save on your gas bill, and one thing that may be overlooked is increasing your gas mileage through your tires. Yes, proper inflation will help slightly, gives a more comfortable and safer ride, but have you ever considered inflating your tires with nitrogen?

The newest ingenuity in automobile tires is nitrogen inflation. Automotive racers (such as NASCAR) use nitrogen instead of air in their tires because of the many advantageous, the least of which is improved gas mileage. You can increase you gas mileage by 5 to 15% simply by filling your tires with Nitrogen, which can be done at a nominal cost of $3 to $5, and you wont have to worry nearly as much about properly inflated tires.

Our air is made up of nitrogen, oxygen and other gases, but by filling your tires with nitrogen you eliminate the troubles oxygen has with our tires. Air corrodes aluminum and steel wheels, causing leaks through valve stems, wheel flanges and around the tire beads. Air also migrates through rubber. Air actually escapes through the rubber whether there is a leak or not. Plus, there is humidity in the air, which accelerates rust and corrosion. If you have ever wondered how one tire could look low this is why. You could be losing 2 psi a month with air, compared to taking 6 months with nitrogen. By maintaining better air pressures, you improve rolling resistance, have better tread wear and lower your fuel consumption.

Nitrogen tires will also run cooler then tires inflated with air, which keeps tire pressures more constant (wont increase or decrease with rising or lowering temperature). You are better able to keep your tire pressures at the recommended pressure, which will also improve tire life and gas mileage.

But how much can you really save? Lets say you add nitrogen to the tires on your full size, regular cab pick-up. You were getting approximately 15mpg average, and now you are getting a 16mpg average. Doesnt seem like much, but over time can add to substantial savings. It cost you $3 per tire, or $12 to fill your tires with nitrogen to get a 6 2/3% increase in your gas mileage, which equals a 6 2/3% savings on each gallon of gas you buy. If you are buying gas at $3 per gallon, you save nearly $.20 per gallon. You will save $3 with each 15 gallon fill or recoup your expenses after 4 fill-ups. And then you can begin counting the profits from you quick and easy investment in nitrogen filled tires.

If you want to save money on gas, just start driving less. If you cant do that, improve your gas mileage, and one of the easiest ways you can do that is ride on nitrogen.
